Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!! There are many stories behind the man of St. Valentine's Day. One story states that a man named Valentinus, on February 14 was martyred (killed for religious reasons) in the late third century A.D. The story says Valentius was a temple priest who was beheaded by the emperor Claudius II near Rome, for helping Christian couples get married. Another story claims that Valentius was the Bishop of Terri and on the outskirts of Rome he was martyred by Claudius II. Whatever the truth is, I know I enjoy St.Valentine's Day. A day to show our love and affections for one another. In saying that, let's of course extend our Love for CHRIST on this St.Valentine's Day. We Love YOU LORD, we Honor YOU LORD and we Bless YOUR HOLY NAME today LORD GOD!!!
