Weeks 45 & 46

     When it comes to Ebola, "GOD has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."  (II Timothy 1:7)  Yes we are to be very cautious in what we do, how we do it, and where we do it.  But, never afraid or fearful, especially when we believe the scriptures and what GOD says in the scriptures, that he will protect us, that, "A thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee." (Psalms 91:7)  This simply means that a thousand shall fall on the left side of you and ten thousand shall fall on the right side of you, but if you have faith that GOD is with you and do have your back, it shall never come near you.  We have to stand firm in GOD'S scriptures and believe in what HE has and is speaking to us.

     As, I was watching the 6:00 p.m. Channel 2 news here in the Detroit area last night, they were interviewing people about their views on the decreasing gas prices.  One lady, while at the pump, stated that she is enjoying saving some money and she is taking a trip to the Dominican Republic in the morning.  The reporter repeated what she had said, somewhat with apprehension or questioning in his tone.  His apprehension made me feel like he wanted to ask her about the fear of traveling because of this Ebola outbreak.  It also raised a red flag in my thoughts that this lady has the full FAITH, that wherever she goes that GOD is with her, and that she is NOT going to live in fear! When the reporter repeated what she had said, the lady simply confirmed with enormous indisputable positivity that she is boarding that plane in the morning, and she will definitely be okay, with GOD by her side.

We are in weeks 45 & 46 with our readings.  "Let's be Happy in Reading GOD'S WORD!"
