Weeks 36 and 37

My Mom would always keep her Bible open to the 91st Psalms.  As a small child I would hear my Mom say to us and others, "It's for Protection!!!"  This tradition didn't start with just my Mom, but I remember when we would visit my Grandparents in Paducah, Kentucky, my Grandmother would have several Bibles open to the 91st Psalms in various rooms.  I must declare that thus far it has worked for our family, Praise the LORD!!!  Verse seven (7) says, "A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh (near) thee."

Our Good LORD will keep all matter of evil and danger away from us, if only we trust in HIS written WORD!!! Some years back, we had a tornado here in Detroit, Michigan.  I remember my oldest son started singing, "The Storm is Passing Over" while shielding and covering his younger siblings, and cousins!!!  Indeed the tornado touched down in several areas close around us, but did not come nigh (near) us!!!  GOD is so Great and Greatly to be Praise!!!  I thank HIM for HIS Grace and Mercy!!!  I thank HIM for HIS Presence, HIS Peace, HIS Protection!!!

We are in Week 36 with our readings.  I will post Weeks 36 and 37 today.  "Let's get excited in Reading GOD'S WORD!!!

AMEN
