Last week we talked about the beginning and the WORD. That in the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. St. John 1:1
Verse 2 says, "The same was in the beginning with GOD. Verse 3 says, "All things were made by HIM, and without HIM was not anything made that was made.
Would it be fair to say, that GOD is the beginning!!!
My Pastor, Orville K. Littlejohn even made mention at our New Year Eve Service, quoting from Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning GOD created the Heaven and the earth", Littlejohn emphasizes that before the beginning there was GOD."
Before there was even a beginning, GOD existed!!! All things exist because GOD made them, nothing existed before GOD!!!
This is why we can remind ourselves that GOD is Alpha (The Beginning) and GOD is Omega (The End). Without HIM, us and anything made could not exist!!! Our independence is always dependent on GOD!!! So, as we embark on this Brand New Year, let's continue to Thank GOD for The Beginning!!!
